Personal Information We Collect

When you visit the Website, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including your web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies installed on your device. As you browse, we collect information about the pages you view, the websites or search terms that referred you, and how you interact with the Website. We call this “Device Information.” We collect Device Information using cookies (data files placed on your device, often with an anonymous unique identifier; see http://www.allaboutcookies.org), log files (IP address, browser type, Internet service provider, referring/exit pages, and date/time stamps), and similar technologies used by our website platform and analytics tools.

We use Device Information only to operate, secure, and improve the Website, including to screen for risk and fraud and to generate aggregate analytics about how visitors use the Website. We do not use Device Information for targeted or behavioral advertising, and we do not sell it.

You can set your browser not to accept cookies; some Website features may not function if you do. We do not alter our data collection practices when we see a Do Not Track signal.

We also collect information you provide to us directly (“Provided Information”) when you fill out a contact, inquiry, showing-request, or rental-application form; email, call, or text us; or sign up to receive updates about available rentals. Provided Information may include your name, email address, telephone number, mailing address, the property or unit you are interested in, your preferred move-in date, and, if you apply for a rental, the information requested on the application (which is collected and processed under the separate terms shown with the application).

“Personal Information” means both Device Information and Provided Information. We may also receive Personal Information from the form, scheduling, screening, and listing-syndication tools we use to collect information from you.

How We Use Your Personal Information

We use Provided Information to respond to your inquiries, schedule showings, process rental applications, communicate with you about properties you have asked about and about your tenancy if you become a resident, screen submissions for risk or fraud, comply with law, and, where consistent with your preferences, tell you about current and upcoming availability.

How We Share Your Personal Information

We share Personal Information only with service providers that help us operate our business and the Website, acting on our instructions: our website hosting and form providers; analytics providers (for example, Google Analytics; see https://www.google.com/intl/en/policies/privacy/ and opt out at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout); security and fraud-prevention providers; tenant screening providers, when you submit a rental application; our telephone, email, and text-messaging service providers; and the listing platforms on which we advertise, to the extent you contact us through them. Our affiliate Meadow Property Management Corporation handles leasing inquiries, email and text messages for The Eleanor and uses your information only for that purpose.

We do not sell your Personal Information and we do not share it with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes.

We may also disclose Personal Information to comply with applicable law, to respond to a subpoena, court order, or other lawful request, to enforce our agreements, or to protect our rights, property, or safety or those of others.
