Stroll the Gardens

Just across the street from the building is Druid Hill Park home to the Rawlings Conservatory and Botanical Gardens. Explore five distinct greenhouse rooms and a 1/2-acre garden. In the summertime the Druid Hill Farmers Market runs every Wednesday from 3:30 – 7:30. Come for the fresh fruits and vegetables, baked goods, hand-made soaps, and honey, stay for the fun and educational programs, including the Music at the Market concert series. Embrace your Inner Foodie

Down the road from The Eleanor is The Maryland Zoo. Have breakfast with the animals, meet Hassan the lion, feed giraffes or stroll the 135 acre grounds.
